| The
umbrian Local Administration and this Association have created a network
of 12 Youth hostels in Umbria, all part of AIG-IYHF and all with a high
standard of services (historical buildings, rooms from one to max six beds,
all with private or reserved services, optimal furnishings, restaurant,
laundry, etc). It is network that allows easier access to all the numerous
places of interest that the region offers: historical and religious centres,
artistic towns, archaeological sites, museums, sports facilities, gastronomic
delights, oases and protected parks. Our target is to give our guests the
possibility to observe the splendid region of Umbria, to experience its
atmosphere through excursions and guided visits along evocative, naturalistic,
historical, cultural and religious routes, discovering also those less well-known
towns of cultural interest, that are represented in the paintings and frescoes
of the greatest Umbrian artists where the history of man has always been
integrated with that of nature. The sporting activities and experiences
(rafting, free climbing, orienteering, hiking, etc.) that we propose to
visitors with the help and support of experienced teams of experts, allow
our guests to personally experience the union of man and nature.The numerous,
qualified Associations of Guides, the twelve Environmental Education Centres
- C.E.A - .all recognized by the Regional Umbrian Council, operators and
coordinaters of the C.R.I.D.E.A. (Regional Centre of Information and Environmental
Education ), promise to assist tourists in every possible way and give didactic
support to school groups. There is also the possibility for groups to receive
a legally recognized certificates for formative experiences undertake. However
the aim is to: - Integrate and to enrich normal training activities
- Stimulate exchanges between School and Territory - Offer the possibility of support and recovery through interesting new activities - Experiment with new collaborative relationships with other Formative Agencies |
